Unless you were hiding under a rock during the ‘90s, you’ll no doubt remember with great fondness Beverly Hills 90210. Brenda, Brandon, Dillon, Donna, and the rest of the crew lured us in with their teenage drama.

But aside from all the show’s regulars, do you know how many guest stars used the show as a springboard to success? Get ready to take a trip down memory lane and be a little surprised by some of the notable appearances…

Jennie Kwan

Jennie Kwan is a talented and beautiful presence that graced the screen as Brandon’s love interest in the early 90s. Her time on the hit show was short-lived, however, and she has moved on to pursue other projects since.

Kwan has had a number of other roles since her appearance on the show, including Entourage, Grace and Frankie, and Promoted. Her most recent work has been doing voice-overs for animated film and television.

Leanna Creel

Leanna Creel and her three identical sisters, Monica and Joy, have made some waves in film and television since their teen years. Since Beverly Hills 90210 alongside Monica, the sisters have claimed a number of credits.

Creel has since turned from acting in front of the camera to calling the shots behind it. She has written, produced, and directed several small films and television shows, and she remains committed to her passions.

Angel Boris Reed

Angel Boris Reed has some serious acting and photography spreads to her name. After being discovered by Playboy photographer David Chan, she was swept into the modeling world and shortly thereafter broke into television.

She had an admirable run on General Hospital, and she has more recently appeared on the hit sitcom King of Queens alongside Kevin James. Whatever she decides to take on in future endeavors, we’re sure she’ll be a smashing success.

Christine Elise

Christine Elise is very well known for her role as Emily Valentine on Beverly Hills 90210; she and Jason Priestly had a good run together as star-crossed lovers while Elise worked on finding a role with more permanence and a bit more substance.

She has gone on to play characters on China Beach, ER, and she has appeared in films like Body Snatchers and Child’s Play as a scream queen. She is now trying her hand at producing and directing shows as well.

Monica Lacy is yet another one of the famous triplet sisters that made their appearances on Beverly Hills 90210. Monica broke away from the trio shortly after her appearance on the show and has carved out her own unique path.

Monica did guest spots on Married With Children, and she also dated Cosmo Kramer on Seinfeld for a short time. Despite what may seem like fluffy TV gigs, she has received critical acclaim for her film roles in Possums, Freeway, and The Cell.

Kristen delivers a convincing and heart-warming performance as Melissa Coolidge, a teenager with a big secret.  It is revealed shortly after she gains the attention of Brandon Walsh that she is a teen mom with a son named Joey.

Kristen Dattilo has mixed and mingled with some serious actors during her career, including the cast of Friends and the hilarious cast of Two And A Half Men. Other serious roles that prove her acting prowess include roles on CSI and Mirror.

Leslie Bega

Leslie Bega plays the role of Marianne Moore, a well-to-do student and established member of the West Beverly High community. When she meets Brandon, sparks fly and the two are rumored to have gotten to know each other on an intimate level.

Since her time on the show, Leslie has built quite a formidable real estate career, and has been linked to high-society agency Sotheby’s. Profiles on social media indicate that she is doing very well for herself in this completely new career.

Matthew Laurance

From 1991-2000, Matthew Laurance played the role of Mel Silver, father of David and Erin Silver, on Beverly Hills 90210. His thoughtful advice and calm demeanor made him the perfect balance for some of the other onscreen antics.

Laurance has made several feature film and TV appearances, including Eddie And The Cruisers, Streets Of Fire, and Duet. He spent a season tickling funny bones on Saturday Night Live as well, but chose other serious acting pursuits ultimately.

With of Brandon’s love interests on 90210, you’d think that we would be tired of seeing new actresses pop up. Emma Caulfield Ford made a favorable impression on audiences, however, and many were disappointed when she left after a few episodes.

Ford is no stranger to TV; she is perhaps best known for her role in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, as well as films Darkness Falls and Timer. Emma spends her time with husband Mark and daughter Kiera these days.

Dina Meyer

Dina Meyer certainly knew how to light up the screen, and Brandon’s heart, when she entered the show as Lucinda Nicholson. Despite her marital status, she attempts several times to win Brandon over with her good looks and her seductive advances.

Dina has since gone on to star in films like Dragonheart, Johnny Mnemonic, Bats, Birds Of Prey, and the Saw franchise. She has most recently appeared in the successful television show, All American, a CW sports drama.

Nicholas Pryor

Nicholas Pryor made regular guest appearances as Chancellor Arnold, the head of a task force populated by Brandon and the gang. His friendship with Brandon grows as Chancellor Arnold works out what it means to have a daughter dating a friend.

Pryor’s early film credits include The Happy Hooker, Smile, and The Gumball Rally. Pop culture fans may recognize him as Tom Cruise’s father in Risky Business, as well as the role of Victor Collins on General Hospital.

Josie Davis

Camille Desmond was a love interest of David and a friend to Donna on 90210. After an entanglement that leaves nearly everyone in the circle hurt, Camille leaves the show without her share of a lucrative business and without her dignity intact.

Josie Davis was also quite well known for her role as Sarah Powell on Charles In Charge.  This long-running sitcom helped springboard her to other opportunities that she took on with similar style and grace.

Jason Wiles played Colin Robbins, a prominent New York artist who meets Kelly during her internship in the summer of 1995. He moves to Beverly Hills to continue his relationship with Kelly, only to find out that one of his old flames is also connected with the gang.

In real life, Wiles doesn’t invite nearly so much drama into his personal or professional life. He played a role The Watch, which ran from 1997-2005, and he also appeared alongside Geena Davis and Donald Sutherland in Commander and Chief.

Rebecca Gayheart took the role of Antonia Marchette on the show after a phone conversation with Luke Perry – who could resist that offer? She and Dylan started an onscreen romance that turned into something long-term.

Since her untimely onscreen “death”, Gayheart has been busy drumming up other roles in film and television. She also has two daughters with ex-husband Eric Dane, and she spends a great deal of time with them these days.

Jennifer Grant played the part of Celeste Lundy, the love interest of both Brandon and Steve. While things get steamy for the trio for a while, Celeste secures a spot working at Maxwell and settles into an expected role as a friend to all in the group.

Grant, ironically, was told by her father, the famous Cary Grant, never to go into the acting business. Guilt must have gotten the better of her over time, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that she received half of Grant’s estate – she never has to work a day in her life.

Who doesn´t remember Lewis from his Smith Jerrod days on Sex And The City?  This hottie lit up the screen with a brief appearance on 90210 as well, leaving audiences wanting more after he becomes embroiled with Valerie Malone.

He has had notable roles with the fab 4 in Sex And The City, as well as some time charming Alyssa Milano in Charmed, along with several other appearances in film and TV. Where will this famous face turn up next?

Esteban Powell

After rising to fame with his role in the iconic film, Dazed and Confused, Esteban Powell went on to guest star on 90210 as well. These two roles were not enough of a taste of fame and fortune, however – Esteban set his sights higher.

He has since appeared in Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story, Runaways, and Shiloh Falls, to name a few of his many accomplishments. He has most recently starred in an A&E series entitled The Cleaner, which he has been a part of since 2009.

Ann Gillespie had quite a high-profile role on the show. She was appropriately typecast as the role of mother to Kelly Taylor, played by Jenny Garth, and appropriately she made regular appearances on the show.

Ann has been an active presence in Hollywood since the early 80s, appearing in shows such as Ryan’s Hope and The Sheriff And The Astronaut. She has cooled her heels a bit, enjoying a quiet life with her husband and two children.

Cameron Bancroft

Cameron Bancroft enjoyed several seasons on Beverly Hills 90210 as the love interest of Donna Martin. The two hit it off shortly after she had ended an abusive relationship with former boyfriend Ray, who tried to stir up trouble when he came calling.

Bancroft has had a number of small roles since his tenure on the show, with the most significant being on the hit show Supernatural. He has also appeared in several episodes of prominent Canadian sitcom, The Beachcombers.

Alexandra Wilson

Alexandra Wilson plays Brooke Alexander, a highly competitive volleyball player who is initially attracted to Steve Sanders. She soon sets her sights on mild-mannered Brandon Walsh, and while the two hit it off initially, they part ways.

Wilson worked her way up in the ranks, also appearing in a number of films and television series. She has shined in a number of made-for-TV movies and kickstarter projects as of late, and enjoys her success and quiet life in upstate New York.

Michelle Phillips

Michelle Phillips played the part of spunky Abby Malone, mother to Valerie Malone, on 90210. She was clearly no angel, first dating Kelly Taylor’s father and then showing up with a mysterious fiance in season nine.

Phillips had a successful career as a singer, songwriter, and actress in a number of indie films and television series over 20 years. She remains active in politics these days, as a former Bush administration advisor as well as lobbying for cannabis legalization.

Heather McAdams plays troubled character Sarah on Beverly Hills 90210, a hard-partying, hard-drinking teen who can’t seem to keep things together.  After a short stint in rehab and a friendship with Dylan, she leaves the show.

Heather has also been seen in Sisters, Walking Tall, Touched By An Angel, and The Facts Of Life. She has received several awards for her work, including a Young Artist Award and Best Actress accolade for her role in the CBS Special, Just Pals.

Valerie Wildman

Valerie Wildman plays the role of recurring character Christine Pettit, girlfriend and undercover F.B.I. agent dating Jack McKay.  After Jack is presumably killed in a car bombing orchestrated, she reveals herself and her true identity to Dylan.

Her other numerous roles in film and television include Splash, Beverly Hills Cop II, and Castaway. She also spent quite a bit of time as a daytime diva on soaps such as General Hospital and Days Of Our Lives.

Randy Spelling

It makes sense that Randy Spelling should have a guest spot on the show, since big sister Tori Spelling played the role of Donna. He did his obligatory brother spot, then has been immersed in other projects since then that are more his style.

Since his cameo on Beverly Hills, he has been involved in other media projects like Sunset Beach and Sons of Hollywood. He now works full time as a life coach in both Portland, OR and Los Angeles, CA.

Julie McCullough

Julie McCullough seems to stir up controversy both on and off-screen, but this has served her well throughout her career.  She appeared in one episode of 90210 as Trina, a moody teen who attends one of Brenda’s slumber parties.

It was her on-air, off-air feud with co-star Kirk Cameron after her termination that gave her the exposure she needed to land other significant roles. She spends her time now performing a new love—stand-up comedy, and she’s as good as it gets.

Stephanie Beacham plays loveable and evolved woman Iris McKay on 90210. Though it was made clear that Iris and Jack had divorced early in Dylan’s life, he maintains a close relationship with her despite the fact that she lives in Hawaii.

Her more significant film roles include Dracula A.D., Schizo, and Troop Beverly Hillls. Stephanie has been a formidable and talented presence in Hollywood for over thirty years, and she is only going to get better with each new endeavor.

Wesley Allen Gullick

Wesley Allen Gullick co-starred in a number of episodes as fry cook Willie at the Peach Pit.  He has a close but friction-filled relationship with Nat, who despite best efforts to keep the restaurant afloat, could not give Willie a raise.

Wesley had other roles in television and film that made him a recognizable face in the entertainment industry.  Unfortunately, he passed away in February of 2019, so we have him immortalized thanks to his onscreen appearances.

Dana Barron

Dana Barron plays the role of Nikki Witt on 90210, a loveable, upbeat dance fan who easily blends into the group of broody teenagers. She spends a sophomore semester at West Beverly Hills High before moving back with her parents in Los Angeles.

Dana is perhaps best known for her role as the original Audrey in the 1983 smash hit, National Lampoon’s Vacation. She tucked her hashish into her purse for good when taking on additional roles on One Life To Live and The Magnificent Seven.

Casper Van Dien

Van Dien was a regular on the show, playing the part of Griffin Stone, a fraternity brother and rich pal of Steve Sanders. After his onscreen relationship with Donna turned sour, he faded into obscurity amid the other lovers cast aside.

A number of small but notable roles and a significant part on daytime soap opera One Life To Live have taken Van Dien in the direction of his onscreen dreams. Since then, he has starred in films like Starship Troopers, Tarzan, and Sleepy Hollow.

Heidi Lenhart

Lenhart played Ellen, a single mother trying to raise a six-year-old daughter while recovering from alcoholism. As she gets involved with Noah Hunter, ex-boyfriend of Donna Martin, her own feelings of inadequacy cause her to self-destruct.

Die-hard Days Of Our Lives fans may remember him as Roman Brady for a time, and he also went on to star in Walker, Texas Ranger and Murder, She Wrote. His brooding looks and confident stage presence make him appealing to millions.

Debbie Gibson

Debbie Gibson is an American pop princess who has successfully crossed over into acting as well. She was getting her feet wet with an appearance on Beverly Hills 90210 as fans were in the middle of adoring her for her chart-topping singles.

Since her time on the show, Gibson has gone on to host a number of TV awards shows and make a guest appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice. Her charitable work with The Children’s Network is one of her major passions now.

Cheryl Anderson plays the role of Sheryl, Brandon Walsh’s girlfriend, on season one. Her sweet and bubbly personality is a front for some serious problems at home, and when Brandon’s family moves to Beverly Hills, their relationship fizzles.

Michele Scarabelli plays a small part in the show, but it’s a part nonetheless. She enjoys the distinction on the 25th episode of season 4, as a guest-starring librarian who wins Brandon’s attention, if only for a brief moment.

In reality, Michele Scarabelli has a number of other film and television accomplishments to her name, including Airwolf, Alien Nation, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. A versatile performer, she makes herself at home in a variety of roles and genres.

Denise Dowse

Perhaps it’s Dowse’s commanding presence onscreen that made her the perfect fit for West Beverly Hills High School’s principal. She played the role with grace and compassion, inspiring us to love her against all odds.

Her multi-faceted personality has taken her through many roles in film and television since the show, including Dr. Doolittle 2, The Enemy Within, and Copper Women. She continues to be a formidable force to be reckoned with, both on and off camera.

Nicholle Tom

Nicholle Tom made an appearance as Sue Scanlon, sister of Scott and best friend of David. Sue comes into the picture squeaky-clean one year after Scott’s death, and she gets involved in a crowd of teens who engage in smoking, drinking, and skipping class.

You may have seen Nicholle in other roles in film and television, including Beethoven and as the character Maggie Sheffield in The Nanny. She has most recently appeared in the made-for-television film Rent-An-Elf.

Paul Popowich was a wonderful addition to the Hardy Boys series on television, as well as a valued cast member on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He continues to take small roles in film and television, spending his time on projects he truly loves.

Shawn Christian

Christian plays the part of Wayne Moses, one of Donna’s love interests. He manages to woo her away from her then-current boyfriend with promises to take her on a worldwide volleyball tour, but his character doesn’t quite match his work ethic.

Christian has certainly made his way through daytime television, starring first on One Life To Live, then moving on to As The World Turns and Days Of Our Lives. He has also made cameo appearances on Will And Grace and Summerland.

Nick Kiriazis

Prince Carl is a recurring character on 90210 played by Nick Kiriazis. Carl is a French prince that has close ties with Clare Arnold, and the two are seen chumming around and getting into trouble, which Carl frequently charms his way out of.

Kiriazis’s other notable performances include The Superhero Movie, Tin Cup, and Sunset Beach. This Wisconsin-born lad has done the Midwest region proud, and we look forward to seeing him in other endeavors in the near future.

Katherine Cannon

Katherine Cannon had the distinction of playing Nancy Martin, Donna’s mother, on 90210. Her rocky relationship with Donna is the subject of many unsavory and scandalous storylines, leaving show fans eager to see how the drama unfolds.

Cannon has had a number of onscreen successes in film and television, including roles in Hawaii Five-O, CHiPs, and High Noon, Part II: The Return of Will Kane. She also played in the TV series Father Murphy and appeared in the sci-fi thriller The Hidden.

Leading man Deon Sams plays a supportive role on 90210 as Flash. Yet his commanding presence and natural acting talents convinced us from the start that he should be move on to bigger and better projects.

Thankfully, Sams has had a number of other roles in film and television that have allowed us to soak up more of his delightful performances. Appearing on such shows as General Hospital, The Young And The Restless, and Happy Endings, his talent and natural ability are clear, and he is a joy to watch in any role he undertakes.

Noelle Parker plays Tiffany, a nice girl with a secret obsession for stealing; when she and the gals hit the local shops, Tiffany begins stealing clothing. Kelly and Brenda eventually move on to other friendships, leaving Tiffany standing alone.

Other performances by Parker include roles in Ernest Saves Christmas, Clerks, Amy Fisher: My Story, and Close Range. Her impressive list of credentials is proof that she takes her craft seriously, and she has no plans of retiring anytime soon.

Mark Collier

Mark Collier plays Mark Driscoll, whose hard-partying ways and strong sexuality put the principal’s daughter in a difficult position. Eventually, his true nature is exposed, and he’s no longer so attractive to the ladies of Beverly Hills.

Mark’s many interests have brought him to some exceptional places and opportunities in his life. Mark resides in Los Angeles, and these days he is highly involved in charitable projects and taking time out to refine his Kung Fu practice.

Dan Deublein

Dan’s brief career in acting took him to 90210, where he played the part of Ben Swift during season four. He has also been seen in a number of commercial campaigns, and he spent some time on the daytime soap entitled Port Charles.

Evidently, the limelight wasn’t for him, as he left acting in 2005 to pursue a career in medicine.  His passion for health and wellness is now of benefit to many patients, and we are happy to see him pursuing his dream.

Ross Malinger was perhaps best known for his role in Sleepless In Seattle, although he did enjoy time on the set of Beverly Hills 90210 as well. His screen presence and ageless looks make him a great candidate for both young and mature roles.

Malinger’s filmography was more extensive than those twice his age, and he just seems to get better with every role he takes on.  Most recently, he has been seen in Without A Trace, lighting up the screen alongside his co-stars with style and grace.

Gregg Rogen plays Drew on 90210, part of a teenage conspiracy to get Brandon’s shiny reputation tarnished. Brandon gives in to peer pressure, attending a Hollywood party where he drinks one too many tequilas and is subsequently arrested for a DUI.

In reality, Gregg Rogen is a good guy, keeping his nose clean and focusing on making a name for himself. These days, Rogen is immersed in his DJ and electronic music empire, releasing albums and dabbling in the creation of short films.

Michele Abrams played the quintessential bad girl Amanda Peyser, a “too big for her britches” Beverly Hills teen that acts superior to others. During a slumber party with the other girls, she realizes she is not better than the rest.

Not so snooty in real life, Michele has had quite a bit of success on screen over the years. She has appeared in Days Of Our Lives, Murder She Wrote, 7th Heaven, and Lois And Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman. 

Melissa Rivers

Graham Galloway made only one appearance as Sean Judson, a producer who discovers Brandon in a park and attempts to get him involved in acting. His over-the-top demands and expectations for Brandon result in the two going their separate ways.

Graham has an impressive list of credits to his name, with roles in Higher Learning, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Chicago Hope, Knott’s Landing, and Dallas. Graham keeps a low profile these days, having taken a break from the screen since 2003.

Douglas Emerson

Douglas Emerson plays the role of Scott Scanlon on 90210, in the part of David Silver’s best friend. The two often pal around while David tries to carve out a name for himself at West Beverly High School.

After Doug’s exit from the show, he enrolled at Pepperdine University and went on with wife Emily Barth to join the Air Force. After an illustrious career in the military, he’s now officially retired with his wife and children.

Many fans are surprised to recall that Hillary Swank spent time in Beverly Hills as character Carly Reynolds. Carly is a single mother who clashes with Steve over a chance encounter on her son’s soccer field.

After her brief tryst with Steve, Hillary went on to quite a bit of success on-screen. Some of her many film credits include The Homesman, I Am Mother, and Million Dollar Baby, making her one of the well-respected actresses in Hollywood .

Vincent Young plays fiery character Noah Hunter on Beverly HIlls 90210. Despite his privileged upbringing, Noah remains guarded about his family’s wealth, instead preferring to forge authentic relationships with other members of the Hills clan.

Since his work on Beverly Hills 90210, Young has made a number of guest appearances on shows like CSI: New York, NCSI, and JAG. Most recently, he’s also been seen performing in the film 3 Days Rising.

When Kelly leaves rehab, Tara Marks joins her, and the two form a destructive, obbsessive relationship.  Things come to a head when Tara attempts to kidnap and murder Kelly, which is thankfully foiled by Kelly’s friends.

In reality, Paige Moss is a stable and secure actress with a number of accomplishments to boast. She mostly sticks to acting in small projects and doing voice-over work in animated shorts, preferring to keep a low profile these days.

Matthew Perry

Matthew Perry makes an appearance on Beverly Hills 90210 as Roger, a tennis star who Brandon believes to harbor a dark secret. As the two spend time together, it becomes clear that Roger plans to commit suicide amidst growing pressures from his father.

We all know what greatness Matthew Perry has gone on to. His appearance on the hit sitcom Friends would be enough, but Perry has gone on to star in a number of blockbuster films making him one of the most sought after comedic actors in Hollywood.

Jordana Capra

Although she only made one appearance on 90210 as Donna’s mother, she made quite a stir in her episode, “The Perfect Mom”.  She was later replaced by actress Katherine Cannon, who filled the role of Felice Martin with flair.

Known for other roles such as Trouble Is My Business, Hired To Kill, and Miracle Mile, she’s left acting behind for a calmer life. She is now living out her days in sunny southern California, focusing on charitable work.
